Shri S.H. Bhandari hailed from a remote village in Rajasthan and came from a family with limited means but very high moral and ethical values. From such a humble beginning and through perseverance and hard work he managed to finish his graduation in Jaipur.
He, thereafter, moved to Raichur, Karnataka, and enrolled as an articled clerk with M/s P. Subramaniam & Co. During his tenure, he was deputed to Chennai (then Madras) for an audit of a client. As fate would have it, he stayed back and qualified as a Chartered Accountant and went on to establish S.H. Bhandari & Co. in 1955.
